COO, Emblematic Group
Jodie Hopperton is the COO of Emblematic Group, pioneering producers of virtual reality news and documentary content. Jodie began her media career in the UK with publisher Trinity Mirror in 2003, where she managed interactive and mobile strategy. After working for the World Association of Newspapers in both editorial and business roles, she joined the New York Times News Service & Syndicate in 2008, being named Regional Director, EMEA in January 2011. Since leaving the Times, Jodie has worked with non-profit organizations and early-stage start ups to help them raise funds, generate revenue, and improve efficiency. She has chaired conferences including Big Data for Media; Marketing for Start-Ups; GEN Paris 2013; and GEN Barcelona 2014.
