An entrepreneur, an optimist, and a globe trotter, Irfan came into the limelight when he aggressively grew his business (ACM) that he started in Pakistan as two people band, to a business employing more than a 1000 people in eleven countries within 7 years. The interesting part about this growth was it all came from emerging markets and it was organic without ever raising money. He started diversifying by setting up businesses in other industries. His last venture was an airline in South Africa. He currently sits on many boards of non-profits as well as commercial enterprises, and is regularly spotted on publications and on the speaking circuit. He still prefers a cup of coffee over Skype, and loves understanding what makes people happy. If you don’t find him involved in a deep conversation about life, he would either be skydiving or racing bikes on the tracks in South Africa.
